Connect Fibre brings Netgem’s new PLEIO with Freely to their full fibre broadband
offering. The aerial-free, all-IP streaming product – including all Streaming Apps and Cloud
Gaming – lands with Connect Fibre as the next wave of city entertainment.


Connect Fibre has announced the launch of Netgem’s new PLEIO streaming hub,
becoming one of the first UK full-fibre providers to bring the all-IP, aerial-free TV
experience to busy households, and offering the most comprehensive entertainment
package: WATCH, STREAM and PLAY. Designed for people who stream everything, and
have previously relied on a rooftop aerial, the new partnership brings all things streaming
into one place, and all at the centre of Connect Fibre’s entertainment offer.

The launch marks a major step up in the ongoing collaboration between Connect Fibre and
Netgem, combining full-fibre speed with a TV experience built entirely for the way
everyone watches today. Connect Fibre TV, powered by Netgem PLEIO, delivers
entertainment seamlessly over Wi-Fi – thanks to Gigabit Fibre Broadband and Wifi 7 router
bundled by Connect Fibre with the PLEIO Puck device.


A TV experience built for the streaming generation


PLEIO offers every major UK broadcaster channel straight over Wi-Fi through Freely – no
aerials, no wall sockets, no landlord permissions – just plug in and stream! Popular shows
such as ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!’ are accessible on any TV screen, without the
need for an aerial!


As the new package offers ‘all things streaming’, customers will also get instant access to
the biggest streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Disney+ etc…, a curated
suite of 150+ additional channels, and a complete Cloud Gaming service with 250+ games
– all on a compact device that fits in a backpack, and can move house-to-house effortlessly.
A Bluetooth gamepad comes included, for an out-of-the-box play experience.


With Connect Fibre’s high-speed full-fibre network at the core, the new offer gives renters,
homeowners, and first-time movers a simple, stylish, and affordable alternative to
traditional TV platforms and make the “all things streaming” promise very affordable for
all. Connect Fibre TV, powered by Netgem PLEIO, will be available for £10 per month – and
included within a range of value-packed bundles.
