PLEIO Terms & Conditions Summary



I. Acceptance & Agreement


By clicking “Agree,” setting up this device, or using the PLEIO cloud gaming and entertainment service (the “Service”), you agree to these on-device terms, the full Netgem UK Ltd Terms and Conditions, and the Netgem UK Ltd Privacy Policy. II. Service & Account Terms


A. Account Creation, Service Use and Integrity: Use of the Service requires the creation of a user account during setup and a stable, high-speed internet connection. You agree to adhere to our Code of Conduct (detailed in the full T&Cs) which prohibits hacking, exploiting, cheating, or any other activity that compromises the integrity or security of the Service. Netgem UK Ltd may immediately suspend or terminate your account for any serious breach of these terms.


B. Subscription & Billing: Your use of the paid Service elements constitutes your acceptance of the recurring subscription fees, automatic renewal, and payment processing terms outlined in our full T&Cs.


C. Product Security & Updates: In compliance with product security laws, Netgem UK Ltd maintains a Vulnerability Disclosure Policy. You can find information on how to report security issues and the minimum period for which security updates will be provided for this product in the full Terms and Conditions online.


D. Privacy: Your data usage is governed by the Netgem UK Ltd Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Freely privacy policy: https://www.freely.co.uk/legal-policies/privacy-policy


III. Third-Party Content & Liability


A. Content Ownership: All rights, including intellectual property, in the streamed content are owned by the respective third-party content providers or their licensors. Content is subject to the provider’s own terms and pricing. All content is provided by third parties, not Netgem UK Ltd. We are not responsible for content availability, scheduling, or the content itself. Your dealings are solely between you and the content provider.


B. Connectivity: You are responsible for maintaining broadband speeds that meet our or the provider’s requirements. Your internet use is subject to your ISP’s terms and data caps. Netgem UK Ltd is not responsible for service interruption caused by your ISP or connection issues.


C. DRM: Your device and some content contain digital rights management (DRM) and other protections that cannot be removed or circumvented. This product is also protected by Microsoft PlayReady intellectual property.


D. Freely Device Consents: The end user (you) grants consent for your Compliant Device to connect to any third party metadata service; and grants consent for your Compliant Device to discover and permit the installation of the Freely HbbTV operator application on your Compliant Device.


E. Commercial License Notices:
This product includes software and technologies licensed from third parties. These licenses are necessary for product operation, and your use of this device signifies your acceptance of these terms. The licenses include, but are not limited to:
Dolby: Licensing for MPEG4 AAC decoding and Dolby Digital Plus (2 channels).
Other Software: The product contains other software (including open source) whose respective license terms are available in the full Netgem UK Ltd Terms and Conditions online.


IV. Disclaimers, Liability & IP


A. Limited Warranty: The PLEIO device and Service are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.


B. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Netgem UK Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. Your use of the device and Service is entirely at your own risk.


C. Intellectual Property: Netgem UK Ltd owns the IP in the device software and the Service. You must respect all intellectual property rights and only use the product as authorized. The software in this product contains code licensed under various third-party agreements; the full terms are provided in the Netgem UK Ltd Terms and Conditions online.


D. Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
